The Goal of Maximum Happiness

One major approach to social justice is utilitarianism. This theory suggests that the most just action is the one that creates the greatest amount of happiness for the most people. In this view, social justice is achieved when laws and policies improve the overall well-being of the entire group. For example, a government might choose to fund public parks or healthcare because many people benefit from them, even if it requires taxing a few individuals.
