Essential Nutrients for Development

To grow from a tiny seed into a productive organism, a plant requires specific chemical elements. These are generally divided into macronutrients and micronutrients based on the amount the plant needs. The most critical macronutrients are nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, often referred to as NPK. Nitrogen is the primary driver of leaf growth and gives plants their vibrant green color.
